Wondering where to stay in Puerto Escondido?

 

There are plenty of less expensive options in town for travellers who do not want to spend too much money on housing. The problem is that these rental rooms are sometimes harder to find. You need to know someone local or just have time to walk around and look for places. Meanwhile you might be looking for something cheaper, we can recommend some of the hostals in town:

 

Hostel Tower Bridge is loceted in the city area of Palmas not too far away from the beach Carrizalillo and the area Rinconada. Walking distance to the market and to our LANGUAGELAND school. Excellent staff and accessible prices. The hostal bar is well known for good vibes and fun parties. 

 

Hostel Losodeli is a new and clean setting in the center of Puerto Escondido, close to the beach area (Carrizalillo, Manzanillo and Puerto Angelito) Relaxing and international athmosphere. Few blocks away from LANGUAGELAND. 

 

Hostel One Love is a small and cozy rustic hostel located in La Punta Zicatela not far away from Zicatela. The hostal and its area is a nice spot to relax, enjoy the nature, surf and meet people. The hostal palapa has yoga every day with an incredible few. Since the hostal is a bit far away from the Center where the school is located, we can come to the hostal and teach the class there. You only need to pay $ 70 pesos extra per session.

 

Other options:

If you want something more spacious there are also furnished and cozy bungalows or small apartments with kitchenette for rent. The rates vary a lot depending on the location and the condition of the place. 

 

If you are travelling with your family?

A nice area for children is the Carrizalillo beach surroundings and the area called Rinconada. The beach is nice for kids and the bulevard area is clean and calm. But you can find nice houses and apartments with swimming pool, garden and two or three bedrooms for your family also in La Punta, Zicatela, Center and Bacocho.
